Corundum silicon carbide castable is made of high-purity alumina and silicon carbide as the main raw materials. This product has excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and its service life is 2-3 times that of other refractory materials.
Corundum silicon carbide castable, silicon carbide is widely used in abrasives, heating elements, structural ceramics and refractory materials due to its high hardness, electrical conductivity, high temperature resistance and high strength. The Mohs hardness of silicon carbide is 9.5, and the grinding ability of silicon carbide is 0.25~0.28, which is much higher than that of corundum (about 0.01). Therefore, silicon carbide is widely used to make various ceramics and refractories.
Adding silicon carbide according to a specific proportion in the casting can enhance the wear-resistant function.
