The role of anchors for kiln refractory pre-embedded
Anchors for kilns are skeletons that support refractory linings or refractory prefabricated blocks of thermal equipment to enhance refractory linings against static load, thermal stress, mechanical expansion, and mechanical vibration. A few anchor manufacturers lack research on the working conditions of the parts used by the anchors, and have misunderstandings about the quality and material of the anchors. Some even consider the manufacturing cost unilaterally, cut corners, and ignore the service life and interests of the user's equipment.
1 Material and shape of anchors
The materials used for anchors are classified according to their appearance, and there are two kinds of straight steel wire and silver bright steel wire. In terms of anchor structure, there is no corresponding national standard, generally based on the current material standards of hot-rolled heat-resistant steel and stainless steel (should comply with GB/T4240-2009 stainless steel wire; among them, the chemical composition is in accordance with GB/T1220-2007 regulations ; Specifications and dimensions are implemented in accordance with the 11-level (hll) regulations in Table 3 of GB/T342-1997 cold drawn round steel wire, square steel wire size and weight. The size and shape of straight steel wire should meet the requirements of GB/T342-1997; silver bright steel wire The size and shape of the steel wire shall meet the requirements of GB/T3207-2008; the roundness of the steel wire shall not be greater than half of the diameter tolerance). There is no standard format and limitation. When designing anchors, the designer generally designs the shape according to the purpose and his own assumptions. The common ones are Y-shaped and V-shaped.
2. The manufacturing shape of the anchor
One of the problems in the construction of kiln lining is that the structure of the anchor is not enough. Loose requirements on the geometric angle and radian of the anchor will facilitate manufacturing and production, but will cause losses in use. Thermal equipment castables and anchors will experience stress release, expansion and contraction under high temperature and normal temperature changes during operation. If the geometric angle and radian deviation of the anchors are large, the stress release, expansion and contraction will be different. This difference will cause the refractory castable to crack, loosen and fall off prematurely, eventually causing the red shell phenomenon of thermal equipment. Therefore, the strict requirement of the manufacturing shape of the anchor is a major event related to the service life of the refractory castable.
3. Welding for anchor fabrication
One of the factors affecting the construction quality of the kiln lining is that the welding of the anchors fails. The anchor structure is simple, and welding requirements are often ignored in production. Neglecting the welding requirements is essentially ignoring the role of the anchor structure, which will result in a low anchor bearing capacity and cannot withstand changes in weight and thermal loads. Therefore, when welding anchors, on the one hand, the selection of welding materials must comply with the welding principles of materials, and on the other hand, it is necessary to prevent welding deficiencies such as spatter, welding slag, cracks, undercuts, and uncleaned coating.
In the kiln refractory engineering, the role of anchors for embedded refractories is very important. Once the anchors fail, it will cause the refractory to peel off, or even a major accident of collapse. Quality control is an effective means to ensure project quality. The comprehensive inspection of the quality of the anchors according to the requirements of the contract, drawings and standards is an important part of the quality control of the whole project. At the same time, we cannot ignore the design and material selection of the anchors, the manufacturing process, and the quality inspection during the construction process. and monitoring work.
